Visit to Harry S. Truman Middle School

Dorothea visited Truman Middle School and spoke to a group of troubled teens (40 girls). Her topics included "Pursuing your dreams," "framing your world with your words," and "self image".  Dorothea told the girls that the way they treat themselves is the way that people will treat them. She placed the crown on their heads and told them that they were all queens. They then walked down the aisle and stated what they were...Example: "I am a pediatrician".
